Social Security Disability

If you have been injured or have an illness that prevents you from working for at least 12 months, you may be entitled to disability benefits under the federal Social Security Act.

In our experience, most individuals file an application for Social Security benefits without having consulted an attorney. In most instances, those applications are denied. The bulk of our clients come to us for help after their initial application for benefits is denied.

As you work through the process, you want an experienced attorney who knows how to avoid the pitfalls that often lead to an initial denial of benefits and understands the emotional effects of an injury or illness. Our firm works with individuals at all stages of an SSD claim, from the determination of a potential claim to the filing of an application for benefits, from the appeal of a denial of a claim through all administrative and court proceeding required to secure benefits.

Social Security disability claims can involve a lengthy process, bringing significant stress and anxiety. We have extensive experience with SSD claims, including SSD appeals, and know how to navigate the system to get you the benefits you need and deserve.

When you hire us to handle your SSD claim, we will examine the facts, evidence and circumstances to build the best case for recovery of benefits. We will examine medical records and work closely with your health care providers to secure the necessary evidence to support your claim.

If we are able to successfully obtain SSD benefits for you, your attorney fees will not reduce the amount of benefits you receive, as our fees will be paid separate from the benefits payout.
